Q. How will I receive the orders from customers?
A. Orders can arrive at your cafe via email, live updates on your own order pad screen, or via SMS should you choose. The live order pad allows you to instantly update your customer with the estimated wait time. This is not currently available for SMS or email order notifications.
Q. Do my customers have to download an App from the Apple iTunes store?
A. No, our app is whats called a web app, and is like a regular webpage, sized to fit on a mobile phone. We currently support the iPhone, but Androids and Windows phones are coming soon.
Q. How do I get billed, its not free right?
A. Its currently free to sign up, and there will be no fees for the first three months, while we work out any kinks. After three months, we will charge you $29.95 per month, plus SMS fees should we configure this option for you.
Q. How will people find my cafe to order from when they use the app?
A. Several ways really, firstly, you can promote the froth out of yourself and the app via media launches and handouts. Secondly, you could show a sign in your cafe with the URL or search words "coffeerunnr yourcafename". Thirdly, the app will have a geolocation feature that shows nearby Cafes, including yours if your within a few Km's.
Q. How do I handle the orders coming in?
A. Well, one way we have seen is to have a tablet device(you have got wifi right?) by your cafe phone. The tablet has our incoming orders page open and "dings" when a new order arrives. You simply write the order on the takeaway cup as usual then acknowledge the order on the tablet. Simple.
